Associated Press Release
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) -- Kaycie Blaylock may not have set out to break a world record.
But her wedding on Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church in Panama City may have done just that. Kaycie and Jim Blaylock tied the knot at the school where she is principal -- with 57 students serving as groomsmen.
The News Herald of Panama City (http://bit.ly/17hfEbg ) reports Blaylock saw a story about a woman attempting to break the Guinness World Record for most bridesmaids. So, she went for the record number of groomsmen.
The record belongs to a Canadian couple, whose 2003 wedding broke three records -- longest bouquet, most bridesmaids and most groomsmen.
The Blaylocks are in the process of providing evidence to the Guinness, which requires a marriage certificate, photo and signatures of all 57 students.
