Florida is expanding its global agricultural product promotions with agreements in Sweden and Singapore.
The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services announced the deals Thursday.
A pair of grocery chains in each of the two countries have joined Florida's "Global Grid" program.
It now has grown to 42 chains and more than 11,000 stores in the United States and 17 other countries.
Florida grapefruit is being promoted in Sweden through free samples, special signage and bin wraps.
In Singapore, the focus is on Valencia oranges and Florida Natural orange juice. The state also is exploring consumer interest there in other Florida commodities such as sweet corn, strawberries and blueberries.
