TALLAHASSE, Fla. (AP) -- May 27, 2012

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is celebrating her wedding in the Cayman Island this weekend.

Sen. Paula Dockery posted pictures on Facebook of the wedding party on their flight to the islands and later posted a picture of Bondi serving punch to friends. Bondi's wedding to Tampa ophthalmologist Greg Henderson was a small ceremony with close friends and family.

Gov. Rick Scott and his wife were also in attendance.

Bondi was a Hillsborough County assistant state before being elected attorney general in 2010.

The Republican is a tea party favorite and has been a popular commentator of Fox News over the years. She told the Tampa Tribune that she and Henderson would be legally married once back in the United States in a private ceremony.

I can't stand Bondi, but can't the woman go on a honeymoon??? I'm pretty sure her and her husband paid for the trip using their own money. You don't have to be stinking rich to have a nice honeymoon. It's called saving your money and looking for good deals! Heck, it probably cost less to go there for a week than it does to do Disney for a week!

I think the WCTV probably should have included more details in this story. Of course, Floridians and state workers want to know how this is being paid for, in light, of the many unemployed, underpaid and medical needy Floridians there are. It's insensitive to appear to be indulging in luxury when so many in our state are doing without.

Isn't life Grand that while Floridians suffer from joblessness and homelessness, our Governor's appointees jet set on salaries at the taxpayer's expense! "Lets get to work!" Doing what Governor Scott? Robbing the coffers of seniors, and education thats what!

I hope you are not saying that Bondi as one of the Goevernor's appointees, because she was ELECTED to her position. Just saying...

Please...try being a poor white person in the country and see where it gets you...NO WHERE. At least those who are a different race than white can get more help from the Government.

Congratulations to the newlyweds! Pam, I am glad to see the you and the gov took the advice of the liberals when they told you both to "Go to Hell". I've been there myself and it's a quaint little town there on Grand Cayman, so now you can say to them OK, I've already been there, but since you insist, I'll go back!!!
