ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) --

Orlando Police say an angry motorist fired four shots at a driver for cutting him off in traffic.

Frank Prince told police he drove more than 100 miles per hour
trying to get away after a BMW cut him off in traffic Wednesday, Nov. 17. But Prince said the BMW caught up with him and made an obscene hand gesture.

According to an arrest report, 33-year-old Prince told police he
pulled out his gun and flashed it at the BMW's driver, Henry
Benejan-Vazquez.

Prince said he saw Benejan-Vazquez reach for something in his
car so he fired four shots.

Benejan-Vazquez pulled off the road and called police. Bullet
holes were found on the rear passenger door and tire.

Prince was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

If he cut you off he was ahead of you? You were behind him? He was driving away from you? If you accelerated, you were doing it from behind him? So were you doing that to catch up with him becuase he had cut you off? I mean that is how the story reads and then it sounds like you were trying to shoot him when he was reaching for a cell phone to call the police. I mean loosing your anger is one thing but then lying about it saids to me not only did you have controll then to prevent the call for help but you had enough controll afterwards to come up with a lie just like that on the fly to cover yourself.

I don't agree with this charge. Isn't there a new law that if someone makes an aggressive move toward you, and you are in fear of your life, you have the right to shoot to kill? Wasn't that in the news last week? Maybe old Vasquez needs to be checked to see if he's (1) in the country legally and (2) learn about this law before he keeps making suspicious moves after cutting people off in traffic.
