Tallahassee, FL- St. Paul's United Methodist Church and Lake Ella was the location for the Alzheimer's Project Inc., 'Forget Me Not' Walk and Festival. People walked around Lake Ella all for the cause. Over $50,000 was raised from the walk and $25,000 was raised by Cliff and Lee Hinkle. All of the money stays local and will go to help with caregiver services and support group meetings that are sponsored by the Alzheimer's Project. "It's just being available to the caregivers when they need somebody to talk to, because caring for an Alzheimer's patent is not an easy task. It's just something that we feel is important to support the local caregivers in our community," said Karen James of the Alzheimer's Project Inc.
