The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division initiated an investigation into the increase of counterfeit money in circulation locally. FCSO Detectives have uncovered at least one counterfeit printing operation that has been active at several locations in Franklin County.
Detectives have seized printing equipment, software, ink and more than $1,400 in counterfeit bills. Multiple arrests and charges are pending the conclusion of this investigation.
