Franklin County Road Improvements

Apalachicola, FL -December 14, 2012

Some Franklin County Roadways are scheduled to see some upgrades and improvements over the next few years.

The Florida Department of Transportation announced it is planning to resurface State Road 30 from County Road 384 to the Apalachicola River Bridge.

The project is slated to begin in the Fall of 2015.

The DOT estimates it will cost around $900,000 dollars to complete.

The DOT says plans for the project include resurfacing the lanes and improving drainage along the roads.
