Even in a tough economy, the Gadsden County Chamber of Commerce says it's still possible to have a successful business and it's showing people how ... for free.
The chamber is offering a series of courses teaching entrepreneurs how to create a business plan, sharing advice on marketing and accounting and developing a realistic view of how much it costs. The program director says, when attendees finish the course they will be able to start a business with confidence.
Program Director Pamela Tribue says, "The overall benefit is just wonderful because they'll have the hands on experience. In most cases you go to a class, you attend the course for four to six hours and you walk away with out a product. With us, when they finish the courses they have a completed business plan. They are also able to have hands on assistance from our staff."
For more information on these free courses, call the Gadsden County Chamber of Commerce at (850) 627-923.
