It's time for the 43rd Annual Springtime Tallahassee Festival, and Downtown Tallahassee is getting spruced up.
As city work crews start setting up Saturday's (April 2) parade, downtown businesses are also getting ready.
Merchants and businesses in Downtown Tallahassee are welcoming guests with their finest bloomers.
Businesses are putting up fresh flowers or creating spring designs to decorate their balconies and windows.
Jim Pittman, Downtown Regions Bank Manager, said, "We want people to see what we have to offer and us being involved and doing things like painting window and stuff. It's just great fun for everybody; all my associates also. We have a good time with it."
The Downtown Merchants and Business Association will be judging the decorations under the theme, "What's Cookin'?"
The Springtime Tallahassee Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. April 2nd.
