Governor Crist Appoints Eight to the Florida Rehabilitation Council for the Blind

Tallahassee, FL - Governor Charlie Crist announced the following reappointments and appointments:

FLORIDA REHABILITATION COUNCIL FOR THE BLIND

Jesus Garcia, 47, of Hialeah, network administrator with Logisticare Inc., reappointed for a term beginning November 3, 2010, and ending August 31, 2013.

Benedict Grzesik, 68, of Melbourne, human resource adjunct professor with University of Maryland, reappointed for a term beginning November 3, 2010, and ending August 31, 2013.

Ted Hull, 72, of Tampa, retired, reappointed for a term beginning November 3, 2010, and ending August 31, 2013.

Victoria Maglicchino, 52, of St. Augustine, teacher with the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind, appointed for a term beginning November 3, 2010, and ending August 31, 2013.

Donte Mickens, 30, of Delray, advocate, succeeding Jodi Lamm, appointed for a term beginning November 3, 2010, and ending August 31, 2013.

Michele Polland, 60, of Tallahassee, policy analyst with the Florida Department of Education, succeeding Dawn Saunders, appointed for a term beginning November 3, 2010, and ending August 31, 2013.

Sylvia Stinson-Perez, 41, of New Port Richey, executive director, Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind, succeeding Jay Naiman, appointed for a term beginning November 3, 2010, and ending August 31, 2013.

Christopher White, 36, of Land O’ Lakes, attorney, Advocacy Center for Persons with Disabilities, succeeding Brian Johnson, appointed for a term beginning November 3, 2010, and ending August 31, 2013.
