A local business is helping veterans... one haircut at a time.

Sport Clips is raising money to buy calling cards for soldiers through its fifth annual "Help a Hero" campaign.

Organizers are providing a way for our men and women in uniform to check in with their familes once a month and on holidays for free.

"It just gives them that little touch of home where they can escape from all the insanity that's going on around them," said Sport Clips' owner, Liz Crawford.

Customers can donate at check-out through November 13th. Or just by dropping in for a trim this Friday. $1 from each cut will go toward the campaign.
