LAND O'LAKES, Fla. (AP) -- Pasco County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a 25-year-old man accused of shooting another man in the face with a BB gun in a Walmart parking lot.
Authorities say Daniel P. Quinnell asked the unidentified 24-year-old if he was from the Middle East and if he was Muslim. Officials say the man said no to both questions before Quinnell pulled out a BB gun Wednesday and fired at least 20 shots at the man and his girlfriend.
The man was treated at the scene, while his girlfriend was not hurt.
Quinnell was arrested late Thursday and charged with aggravated battery. It's unclear whether he has retained an attorney.
Detectives in Pasco County say they received several tips after releasing video and photos of the attacker, including one that he was staying at a hotel near Interstate 75.

LAND O'LAKES, Fla. (AP) -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot a man in the face because he believed the victim was from the Middle East.
The shooting happened Wednesday in the parking lot of a Walmart in Pasco County. CAIR offered the reward Thursday.

The male victim, whose identity was not released by authorities, was treated at the scene. The girlfriend, 25, wasn't injured.
