Havana, FL - The Havana Town-Wide Sidewalk sale had a slow start this morning, because of the rain. However, that didn't stop folks coming from all over the Big Bend to see what Havana had to offer. Local business owners said the sidewalk sale weekends help out the local economy. "If definitely helps the economy out, Havana depends a lot of the people coming up here to look around at the stores, It's a great place to live and a great place to visit," said Bill Penny, Store Owner of HodgePodge.
The city said they plan on having more sidewalk sales in July and September.
