Madison, FL - Florida Highway Patrol reports they were involved with a high speed chase on Tuesday afternoon that ended in a crash.

No injuries were reported from the accident.

FHP tells WCTV that a trooper tried pulling over a driver near Tallahassee at around 5:30 Tuesday afternoon, but the suspect took off and was being chased at over 100 miles per hour. Stop sticks were used near Jefferson County line on I-10 but proved to be ineffective. Troopers say the driver eventually crashed the vehicle into semi at mile marker 236 Eastbound on I-10.

The suspect is a 20-year old woman and is in custody. FHP tells WCTV that she had no priors and that alcohol or drugs were not detected.
