TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Twelve people are injured in a three-vehicle
crash that temporarily closed Interstate 275 in Tampa.

Officials say a GMC Envoy hit a retaining wall as it traveled
northbound about 9 p.m. Sunday. It then hit a Lexus and Pontiac
Sunfire before going over a guardrail and rolling down an
embankment.

Two of the nine people in the Envoy were ejected. Officials say
all 12 people involved in the wreck were taken to area hospitals,
three with serious injuries.

The interstate was closed just south of Fowler Avenue for about
an hour.
