JCSO Arrests Man for Child Abuse

JCSO Press Release - On or about December 6, 2010, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office commenced a joint investigation with the Florida Department of Children and Families involving allegations of child abuse and lewd and lascivious acts reported to have been committed by Brian Hal, a white male, of Malone, Florida.

During the investigation, probable cause was established to support the filing of criminal charges against Hall for child abuse and lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 12 years of age.

Criminal complaint affidavits were forwarded to the Office of State Attorney on or about December 10, 2010 requesting review and prosecution of Brian Hall for the above charges. The Investigation continued.

On March 24, 2011, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office received two warrants for the arrest of Brian Hall. One count of Lewd & Lascivious Molestation and one count of Child Abuse. These warrants were executed and Hall was taken into custody on the afternoon of March 24 by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. Hall was lodged in the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await his first appearance in court on the morning of March 25, 2011.

    Not his first time. He has two previous convictions. Why is he out of prison to do this yet again?

    Jim, that was my first thought as well. Terri, bail will not be set until his first court appearence. Hopefully there will be NO BAIL!!!

    this is not the way they do things in jackson co. it all depends on who you are and how much money you have another sicko by gregory chambliss from jackson co. got nothing and violated his prob. 4 times and still got nothing, now he is off prob. and free to move to the next child,they should be caserated

    See how they do things in Jackson County? They didn't offer this scum bail, at least the article doesn't refer to bail being offered. He doesn't deserve bail.

    So the child was allowed to be molested for 3 1/2 months, while the "investigation continued......"
