Marianna, FL - On Wednesday (12-23) at around 11:26 a.m., the Jackson County Sheriff's Office responded to a burglary call at 3461 Plantation Circle just north of Marianna, Florida.
During the course of the investigation, the responding deputy discovered that the next-door neighbor had video surveillance cameras that were pointed in the direction of the victim's residence. The deputy, also, located shoe impressions leading to and from the residence.
The K-9 tracking teams from Jackson Correctional Institution and Apalachee Correctional Institution were summoned to the area and initiated a track. THE JCI K-9 team tracked the suspects to a residence on Plantation Circle.
Jackson County Sheriff's Investigators conducted interviews,which resulted in the recovery of the stolen property. Two juveniles were taken into custody and charged with burglary and grand theft. After being screened by the Department of Juvenile Justice, they were released into the custody of their parents.
