Jackson County Sheriff's Arrest One In Connection To Armed Burglary

On Tuesday August 27th Deputies of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary on Flat Road. During the burglary a window air conditioner unit and a handgun was taken.

While investigating this burglary, Arthur Lee Hayes JR., age 19 was identified as a suspect in this burglary. During the investigation, the location of the air conditioner unit was revealed and recovered.

On Wednesday, August 28th an armed burglary warrant was issued for the arrest of Hayes. On Thursday morning August 29th Deputies executed the warrant at Heyes residence, 3579 B Flat Road.

During a search of Hayes’ residence, the handgun was recovered. Hayes was arrested and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility.

The Jackson County sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone who cooperated and assisted in this case.
