TALLAHASSEE, FL – July 12, 2012 –
Karol Schneider, Assistant Vice President/Market Service Manager at Capital City Bank, was recently elected president of The Pilot Club of Tallahassee. As president, Schneider will preside over the club’s Board of Directors, and will work with other club and district leaders in establishing club goals. Other responsibilities include serving as the liaison between club members, the district, and Pilot International, and leading the club in its various service projects and activities.
“I am honored to hold this position,” said Schneider. “I look forward to our year ahead as we continue to partner with other organizations to educate the Tallahassee community about brain awareness and injury prevention.”
Other elected officers include: Yvonne Salfinger, President Elect; Belinda Mizell, Vice President; Claire Mikko, Secretary; Charlotte Edenfield, Treasurer; Carol Wolfe, One year Director; Carol Heiman, Two-year Director; and Pam Schilling, Immediate Past President/Director.

Pilot Club of Tallahassee
The Pilot Club of Tallahassee is focused on brain disorder education including Alzheimer's, in which projects help to aid and fund research for this disease. In addition to Alzheimer's projects, the club also actively educates young children on how to protect their brain through a puppet show program known as BrainMinders®. The Pilot Club of Tallahassee works in the local community supporting Gretchen Everhart School and the Salvation Army Sharing Tree as well as sponsoring Anchor Clubs in 3 local schools: Leon High School, Maclay School, and Chiles High School.
