I hope this mother finds her child. She hasn't been exactly fair with us. Found it on FDLE site. According to the description on FDLE she's not 5'2", she's 5'5", and 135 pounds. And I don't see asthma on there anywhere. I still don't understand why there is no notice of a runaway child as there should be for any law enforcement agency would need. I guess this is the way they do it these days.

Coleen - can you drive the route to Blountstown stopping at some stores, drug stores, etc? Has she got some medicine for her asthma to at least take with her? In her purse maybe. Check with her doctor on Mon to see if she has called in for more medicine. That way you can see where she might have it called in to.

Neither the Sheriff's news releases or the Police news releases is carrying this runaway. Why aren't these carrying it? How are other law enforcement agencies supposed to know? This has been mentioned before, and here it is happening again.

I know you are panicked about her asthma. That would panic me. Have you checked the hospitals between here and Panama City or Destin? Did she leave with her medicine? The girl you thought she was with, have they gotten up with her yet? Maybe if they are together that's a good thing. Maybe they will come back tomorrow. She's been gone since late Wed night. They are probably getting hungry about now. Have any of her friends given you any leads at all? Hopefully she will come home tomorrow. Or at least call you. She's had time to calm down. She looks like a very bright girl.

That's fantastic. I would be very cautious with her because you could throw her into an asthma attack. Maybe if you go where she is to pick up the medicine, that might not alarm her. If she thinks she's being taken in, that really might work against you all.
