Detectives stated that Daniel Pruitt, 39, walked into the Leon County Sheriff’s Office and turned himself in after family members saw his picture in the media coverage of the robbery. Pruitt was interviewed, arrested and taken to the Leon County Jail. Pruitt is charged with Robbery and Grand Theft.

Sheriff Larry Campbell stated, “This is a great example of the media’s coverage assisting law enforcement with an investigation. This defendant’s family knew it was only a matter of time and they
convinced him to do the right thing.”
