Temporary lane closures will continue on State Road 267 between Rocky Comfort Creek and State Road 20, Monday, May 2, through Friday, May 6, while crews from C. W. Roberts contracting work to resurface the roadway. Drivers can expect daily lane closures, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
This work is part of the $7.2 million, 355-day project to resurface SR 267 from south of Interstate 10 (I-10) in Gadsden County to State Road (SR) 20 in Liberty County. Work began January 2011.
Speeding violations double in construction zones, when workers are present, drivers are urged to use caution and to obey traffic flaggers.
