Tallahassee - We've all been there, remembering you missed a gift on your list then rushing to the store only to find that they are closed.... well, not anymore. Starting this weekend, Kohl's and Toys 'R' Us will both be open 24 hours a day until Christmas.
"We're really doing it for the convenience factor. We've got great gifts this year, great brands, great values, and we want to be here when the customers are ready to shop. So it's all about convenience and customer service. Just being here for them", says Amanda Wheeler, Kohl's Store Manager.
So whether you're looking for a great last minute gift for either your wife or maybe the kids, Tallahassee shoppers are saying that the 24-hour roll out plan is a great idea.
"Yea, it's a cool idea because I don't think any other store would do that, like stay open for that long, if it's not like a grocery store or something", says Malak Khaleq, a Kohl's shopper.
"I feel like it's great because people who haven't had time to shop can do their last minute shopping", says Kiera Green, a last minute shopper.
It isn't just local stores staying open. The Toy's 'R' Us in Times Square has been open 24/7 since December 1. That's equivalent to 566 consecutive hours.
