Tallahassee, FL-December 13, 2012
Talks are underway between the Leon County Schools and the teachers union that could result in a pay raise for teachers.
It's been about three years since Leon County teachers were given a raise. In 2009, they were given a 1.3 percent pay raise.
The teacher's union would not go into specifics on how large of a raise it's seeking. But the union believes a resolution could come soon.
A meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 18.
