Leon County Commissioner Bill Proctor and The MLK Foundation of Florida, Inc. invite the public to attend a celebration to observe the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. in the Leon County Courthouse North Rotunda.
The Office of the County Administrator will provide the welcome remarks and Leon County Commission Chairman John Dailey will bring greetings. The Honorable Kathy Garner, Gadsden County Judge will be the speaker for the occasion.
The honorees include Dr. Jean Ferguson, Principal, Amos P. Godby High School; The Honorable Jackie Fulford, Circuit Judge; Dr. Michelle Gayle, Principal, James S. Rickards High School; Dr. Joe Webster, Chairman of the Board, Bond Community Health Center; and Leon High School Student Body.
A lunch buffet will be provided following the program.
