They called her "Momma" or Auntie Nook.

The woman we told you about who turned 100 years old just two months ago is laid to rest Friday.

Family and friends said their final goodbyes to Alice Harris Friday morning.

Harris' funeral was held at Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church on Chaires Cross Road in Leon County at 11 a.m.

Relatives say the centenarian peacefully passed away on Monday.

Her niece, Sandra Harris said, "She had so much wisdom. It's good to have someone in the family that is up in age and you can go to them and they can talk to you. I am going to miss her."

Eyewitness News was there when Harris celebrated her 100th birthday in October, 2010 surrounded by nearly 200 family members and friends.

Friday, many of the women wore brim hats to the funeral in honor of the head dress they say Harris loved to wear.
