Man Arrested For Stealing Jewelry Box, Soda From Neighbor

Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Wednesday March 19, 2014 at 10:17 pm Deputies of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 190 SW Anderson Pond Way in Madison to investigate the report of a Burglary.

Upon arrival Deputies spoke with the homeowner who reported that when she returned home she noticed her bedroom window blinds had been tampered with and a jewelry box was missing from the room. The homeowner checked the rest of her residence and found the only other items missing were some soft drinks that were in the refrigerator.

The homeowner informed Deputies that she suspected her neighbor Andy White based on a previous incident. Deputies made contact with White at his residence located next door and interviewed White.

When questioned about the Soda, White retrieved the stolen soft drinks from his refrigerator. When questioned about the jewelry box, White retrieved it from his bedroom.

Deputies placed White under arrest without incident and transported him to the Madison County Jail. All property was returned to the home owner.
