Man Gets 20 Years for Infant Son's Death

Tampa, Bay, FL (AP) - A Tampa Bay area man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the death of his infant son.

A Hillsborough County judge sentenced 27-year-old Donald Dankert
on Friday. He was convicted in September of third-degree murder and
child abuse. He had been charged with first-degree murder, but
jurors settled on the lesser charge.

In December 2003, Dankert rushed into a hospital carrying his
son Dylan. He told doctors he had dropped the child when he was
startled by a dog. A medical examiner reported the boy had suffered
more than one fatal blow to the abdomen.

The baby's mother, Tanya Gruce, faces an aggravated manslaughter
charge for failing to seek medical attention for her son.

Alright TIR, shall we say racist??? It is a shame that a child has lost their life and your biggest concern is the color of the murderer???? SHALLOW! This poor baby, shame on these parents! The sad part is the dad only got 20 years in prison, and as an employee of the prison system I can tell you that he will get nothing but babied!

With the headline above and so few comments, I knew the killer had to be a white person. Aren't the great people of Tallahassee always outraged by deaths of innocent children? Then why so few comments, okay, I know the answer, but you could at least fake that you are not a biased people.
