Marianna, FL - On 12-14-2010 Officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to a physical altercation on Pearl Street.
Upon officers arrival they were notified that Wesley Martin, 41, had burglarized a vehicle located on McPherson Street.
The owner of the vehicle had chased Martin around the corner and tackled him holding him till officers arrived. After detaining Martin officers looked in a black bag that he had in his possession and found what later turned out to be a miniature Meth lab.
Officers later questioned Martin and he admitted to officers that the contents in the bag were to manufacture methamphetamine and that he intended to manufacture methamphetamine.
Martin was also found to have a warrant out of Gulf County Florida. Martin was placed in the Jackson County Jail to await first appearance and warrant service.
