Quincy, Fla. -- Funeral plans are set for a Gadsden County Middle School student who drowned earlier this week.
Jeremy Lockwood was a 7th grader at Shanks Middle School in Quincy.
He drowned Tuesday in a small tributary of Lake Talquin, located behind his home.
Jeremy's funeral will be this Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Shanks Middle School gymnasium.
He was a member of the school's band.

A Shanks Middle School 7th grader drowned in a small tributary of Lake Talquin located behind his family's home earlier this afternoon.
The victim's name has not been released yet, but it has been confirmed that he was a band member at Shanks as well as the youngest of four siblings.
The victim was on Spring Break.
Florida Highway Patrol, Freshwater Commission, Gadsden County Sheriff's Office, and Gadsden County EMS all reported to the scene.
