Conner, I hope you are ok buddy. If you can, take some time to understand how worried your mom is for you and your safety. I remember her sacrifices and love when you were 2 or 3 years old. It won't be easy, but please contact your mom. Things could be so much better if you would just try to talk through some of this.

Honestly the people who think my mother is just a great person and is extremely nice yall don't know her. Theres way more to this story that nobody knows. Bottom line I'm not on the street. I'm not coming home and y'all talkin about stuff u really don't know about is dumb and pointless....Stacy u can get over yourself and stop lieing to the cops and news and sayin I'm on drugs and a complete drug addict. I don't do drugs. I smoked marijuana a few times my entire life. Trust me I'll be fine on my own

Connor, if this is you, you have a huge family and support system and they all love you more than anything. You need to call an aunt, uncle, cousin, grandparent. It's not just about you. You have a lot of people very worried and upset. Be a man and call a relative.

I do not know this family or the situation, but my heart goes out to this mother. I have a daughter that run away from home when she was 17. I have read all these comments and can see a lot of ignorant comments. Being a mother I know what this mother is going through. Of course 17 yr olds do no like to be told what to do (I have raised 3) but they have to learn that their parents love them and for those friends of his... you really know only what you are told by him...the internal workings of a family are usaully not known by anyone that does not live in the home. Tell this kid to call his mom and go home. Teenagers you can be charged as an acessory too. Trust me I know.

I would not call him a gentleman, i have SEEN the way he talks to his mom.

There is a little something called parenting that seems to be going on in the Giles household and rules that are expected to be followed. Connor, like many KIDS his age, feel like they don't need rules or deserve to be able to do what they want as they please. Kids don't understand that their parents are there to help and prepare them to succeed in life. Prayers go out to the Giles family.

To "whocares," you are completely cluless and know absolutely NOTHING about this family other than the manipulative lies that were fed to you from a 17 year old boy. Whoever you are, i pray that you and your poisenous attitude stay far away from this family so they can heal. Your enabling rhetoric does nothing for his mother or other hurting family. Know the facts next time you ignorant idiot!

"to lifetime friend" this 17 year old could be telling the truth. did you know parents can lie too? and if this person wants to have this attitude let them. you can do anything to stop that person.so get over it. and wow ignorant idiot? grow up please. people can have their own opinion on this situation. and ofcourse your gonna be on his mom side compared to a 17 year old. im sure he is fine,
