FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities are interviewing the mother
of a newborn baby whose body was found in the woods in southwest

Lee County sheriff's deputies said Saturday they had located the
baby's mother but declined to give details. The baby's body was found Friday afternoon. Authorities said it is a "full-term newborn."

The medical examiner will perform an autopsy.

@April, this happens all time, teenage girls give birth to babies in the bathroom at their school, flush it, then return to class as though nothing had happened and no one ever knew. So, yeah, if you count all the teenage girls killing their babies and all the others it's a pretty sad and horrifying situation. There are tons of people who can't have kids and would love to adopt, but these people think life is disposable. It truly is sick.

How in the world can anyone dispose of a baby's body. A helpless innocent child. Even if the baby was still born at birth this is horrifying to know that the mother of this child would just leave the baby like this. This is very sad and sick!
