Jacksonville, FL (AP) - A north Florida woman has been
sentenced to 50 years in prison for shaking her baby to death after
the boy's crying interrupted her game on Facebook.

A Duval County judge sentenced 22-year-old Alexandra Tobias on
Tuesday. She pleaded guilty in October to second-degree murder.

Tobias previously told investigators that she was angered
because the boy was crying while she was playing the game
FarmVille. She said she shook the boy, smoked a cigarette to
compose herself and then shook him again.

It's not about facebook or anything else. It's about parents not having self control. Now what i dont understand is why she gets to live in prison and tax payers have to pay for her to live for 50 years. Any crime against a child should be punishable by the death penalty. This innocent child had his life taken away too soon and this woman not even gonna call her a mother gets to live how is this even fair or right.

Shaner; Facebook didn't kill the baby, a selfish woman did. There are a lot of people out there raising children with no idea how to treat a child. She had to of shaken that baby really hard. the baby just needed food or changing, either would have taken less time than what she spent, shaking him, smoking a cigarette and shaking him again.
