Nancy Miller Wins Tallahassee Commission District 3 Race

In the City of Tallahassee Commission District 3 race, Stephen Hogge hog and Nancy Miller are vying for the seat being vacated by five-term servant Debbie Lightsey.

With 163 of 165 of precincts reporting, Hogge gets 44% and Miller has 56%...

So, it appears that Miller will be the new Tallahassee Commissioner for district 3.

Two people running for Tallahassee Commission Seat Three have found out the results of the election. Nancy Miller won the election against opponent Stephen Hogge.

According to The League of Women Voters of Tallahassee website, Hogge became President of the Council of Neighborhood Associations from 2007- present.

According to Millers political website, the independent business owner has raised two children in Tallahassee, and vows to support small businesses and help the economy grow while protecting natural resources.

We spoke to Hogge about the outcome of the race. Here's what he had to say:

"I want to first, congratulate Nancy. She ran a tremendous race, and it was a race that was constructive, we focused on the issues. Also, I obviously want to support our supporters, they did a tremendous job. We had lot's of volunteers, we knocked on a lot of doors and I just appreciate all their support."

Hogge awaited the results of the election at Salter Mitchell Public Relations while Miller awaited results at Paradigm in Downtown Tallahassee.
