Neighbors Voice Concerns With Cascade Park

Tallahassee, FL--- May 30 2012 --

More than 60 neighbors attended a public meeting regarding issues stemming from Cascade park.

Tallahassee Parks and Recreation officials as well as TPD addressed topics including security, parking and trash collection. Most of the people were from Myers Park area of the city.

The biggest concern Wednesday night was the noise that might come from concerts and events at the park.

"Our major concern was noise," said neighbor Susan Lorch. "That was number one on most people's agendas."

"They've done a good job explaining the steps they are taking to address that issue (of noise)," said neighbor Craigie Huston.

Most people we spoke with say they're happy with the way the meeting went.
