Motorists traveling US 90 / Mahan Drive near Vineland Drive will encounter a new traffic pattern Thursday, March 10. East and westbound traffic will be shifted to the newly constructed lanes. This traffic shift will allow the contractor to complete the new roadway between Champagne Drive and Walden Road.
Meanwhile, delays will continue between Vineyard Way and Arendell Way Monday, March 7 through Friday, March 11, while the contractor widens the roadway. Motorists can expect delays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., and from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. daily. One eastbound and one westbound lane will remain open at all times.
Edenfield Road at US 90 / Mahan Drive is scheduled to reopen at 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 29. The contractor is completing drainage improvements at the intersection. Traffic is using Dempsey Mayo Road, Miccosukee Road and Edenfield Road as a detour route.
The work is part of the US 90 widening Project currently under construction. Drivers are encouraged to use extreme caution while traveling through the construction zone, traffic flaggers will direct traffic. More information on the project is available at www.mahandrive.com.
