Associated Press Release
PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) -- A 17-year-old girl has died and another girl was seriously injured after an ATV accident in the Panhandle.
Florida Highway Patrol officials say driver Cheyenne Glenn and her 10-year-old passenger, Jadynn Dannelley, were travelling along an uphill curve Thursday in Jay when they crashed into an embankment and hit several small trees. The ATV also hit a large tree limb that had been on the ground, causing it to snap and hit the two victims. Both fell off the ATV.
FHP reports that Glenn was pronounced dead at the scene. Dannelley was hospitalized in critical condition.
