PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) -- Officials in northwest Florida are looking for a man they say impersonated a police officer to sexually assault a woman.
According to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office, the victim told detectives a man offered her a ride home early Friday morning after a night of partying. The man then asked her to exchange sex for money.
When she declined, she said the man began talking on a radio and told her he was a police officer. She told deputies the man threatened to take her to jail if she did not comply.

In 2009, there were several reports of someone pretending to be
a police officer who targeted women in the area. The person was
never identified or arrested.
