Panama City, Florida (AP) --
A Florida Panhandle police officer has been fired after pornographic photos and videos were found on his office computer.
According to Panama City Police Department documents,
investigator Michael Rozier was fired Oct. 8 after an inquiry
prompted by another detective who notified supervisors about the
images of naked women and men on Rozier's computer. Officials said
he also distributed the images to other detectives.
Rozier had been suspended with pay in August, pending the
outcome of the internal investigation.
According to the investigative summary, Rozier denied knowing
about the images. He is appealing his termination to the Panama
City Civil Service Board.
