Panama City, Florida (AP) --

A Florida Panhandle police officer has been fired after pornographic photos and videos were found on his office computer.

According to Panama City Police Department documents,
investigator Michael Rozier was fired Oct. 8 after an inquiry
prompted by another detective who notified supervisors about the
images of naked women and men on Rozier's computer. Officials said
he also distributed the images to other detectives.

Rozier had been suspended with pay in August, pending the
outcome of the internal investigation.

According to the investigative summary, Rozier denied knowing
about the images. He is appealing his termination to the Panama
City Civil Service Board.

Another case of just do as we say and not what we do.

What happened to the other detectives - the ones he distributed photos to. Were they suspended or terminated? All of these officers had a duty to report this. It looks like maybe only one actually reported this, he did the right thing. The others should be reprimanded at a minimum for not reporting this.

Huh?! Rozier is a police investigator, yet is clueless about what is on his own computer??? That's pretty funny!

Just another officer that thought he was above the law and could do whatever he wanted because he was the law
