A pedestrian was struck by a car as he tried to cross the street in Tallahassee on Thursday, July 12.
It happened on the corner of Monroe Street and Paul Russel Road just before noon.
Police say a Honda SUV headed north on Monroe Street tried to turn onto Paul Russell Road ... and hit an elderly man in the crosswalk.
TPD reports that the man's injuries are not life-threatening. The driver of that SUV was cited for failing to yield.
