Tallahassee, FL -- February 22, 2012 --
Red Hills International Horse Trials is proud to announce the first annual RHHT Silent Auction, an exciting new happening at the prestigious event scheduled for March 9 - 11. Bidding will begin on March 8 at the RHHT Volunteers’ Party and continue each day and
evening until the auction winners are announced midday Sunday, during Stadium Jumping.
The Auction will be housed in a special tent accessible to spectators and competitors as well as Red Hills Sponsors. It is hoped that there will be many visitors to the Auction Tent to bid on items, valued from $50. to thousands of dollars. All proceeds will benefit the
horse trials’ beneficiaries, Tall Timbers Research & Land Conservancy, and Elinor Klapp Phipps Park, owned by the Northwest Florida Water Management District and managed by
Tallahassee Parks & Recreation.
This exciting new RHHT project has received tremendous donation response and will feature between 25 and 30 items, a list of which is attached to this press release.
In addition to the Silent Auction, RHHT is sponsoring a Rolex Raffle. A Men’s Rolex watch, SS Milgauss, style number M865434 retail value of $7,150 has been donated by the Gem Collection, Tallahassee. Tickets are now on sale at $50. each. Only 200 tickets
will be sold. Drawing for the Rolex watch will be Sunday, March 11th in the main arena at the Red Hills Horse Trials. One need not be present to win.
