To the one who asked the question: Why did God let the other team lose? Have you read your bible, when Paul was in Athens and come to think about it some things are best left unsaid, Go ask your pastor why the other team lost.

CONGRATULATIONS Jerrell Gregory. Last year you were a senior at Rickards and a member of the basketball team. You worked hard and you guys won the Championship. Although you are currently a student at FAMU now, you chose to dedicate your time and effort to help ensure that your alma mater repeated this victory. Job well done! Through your prayers, hard labor and dedication helping to coach and mentor your team, Rickards have been successful in winning again this year for the 2nd time in a row. THIS IS HUGE!!!!!!!

The boys won the game, not a fictious 'god'. I don't think the easter bunny or the tooth fairy had a part of it either. If god had something to do with it, why did he make the other team lose?

Way to go Rickards!!! I enjoyed reading where all the players said that they play as a team and that they play for Rickards, not self. What a great bunch of guys. Proud 1982 alumni (Redskins).

WE HAVE ANOTHER WINNER!!!!!!!! Well Principal Gale and Coach Bryant and his greatly motivatedv staff. This goes to show everyone in Tallahassee and surrounding counties that if you trust GOD and support your head coach to make the right decissions, he does it throughthe Grace of God he will be blessed. Now we cannot give the head coach all the credit; he had staff and a team. I know coach believes in God. He bleieves in his staff, the young men on the team. Mr Bryant also believes in education, respect, accountability, anyone who knows him know this. Bless your heart and Principal Gale time for you to give God some praise up in here, up in here, because truly the Lord is with you and Rickards High, sometimes we never understand the "WHY" of Life, don't attempt to try just remember ain't no secret what God can do; I truly believe in my heart God gotcha you and the entire staff and faculty and students of the GREAT RICKARDS HIGH SCHOOL ON THE SOUTHSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, Raiders! Even though we were the "Redskins" when I was there, I'm proud of the "back-to-back" titles. Go Raiders!
