Lakeland, FL (AP) - LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) -- D'Marnier Cunningham scored 19 points to lead Tallahassee Rickards back from a fourth quarter deficit as the Raiders defended their Class 3A state boys basketball title with a 60-54 overtime victory over Orlando Jones.
Rickards (23-7) trailed 46-39 with four minutes remaining Thursday before Cunningham scored seven straight to put the Raiders ahead 47-46.
Tied at 48, Desmond Gibson scored his first points of the game when he tipped in a basket and then added a lay-up, and Jamaal Dowdell added a basket as Rickards scored the first six points of overtime.
Chris Bryant had 16 points and a game-high 10 rebounds for Rickards, and his dunk in the waning seconds sealed the victory.
Angelo Warner scored a game-high 29 to lead Jones, which finished 25-6.
