Tallahassee, FL -- March 7, 2012 --
Michael Pollard is no stranger to Red Hills. This year he's riding three horses at the three star level, that's the highest level in the competition. Pollard arrived at Red Hills on Wednesday morning.
"It's certainly good as well to have the horses here a little early. It gives them a little time to get acclimated, and maybe not be so nervous over the weekend.," said Pollard.
Last year Pollard took second overall at the 2011 Pan American Games. His team took gold. He says he's certainly thinking about the upcoming Olympics, but will focus on doing his best at Red Hills.
The official check-in for the event is Thursday. Red Hills officials say last year more than one hundred riders checked in on the Wednesday before the competition.
