Tallahassee, FL-Dozens showed up to the Goodwood Museum to show their support for the Apalachicola Riverkeeper.
The Riverkeeper held an ice cream social fundraiser Sunday. The non-profit works to protect Apalachicola Bay.
It is looking to raise money for its various projects it says are critical to helping the Bay and the residents who depend on it.
One of those projects is increasing the flow of fresh water into the Bay.
"We're a part of the community there and we are trying to do everything we can to help our community. But our primary purpose is to try and work on getting that flow back down there. That's what will help us in the long-term," said Riverkeeper, Dan Tonsmeire.
