Chipley, Florida – June 23, 2011 -
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) will perform a traffic pacing operation Monday, June 27, from 2 a.m. until 5 a.m. to allow crews from the City of Tallahassee power division to replace aerial distribution power lines across I-10 near Mahan Drive (mile marker 199). Message boards are in place along I-10, to alert motorists of the approaching change in traffic patterns and speeds.
Beginning Tuesday morning June 28 and continuing through Wednesday, June 29, crews from the City of Tallahassee will perform routine landscape maintenance on medians along Thomasville Road between Live Oak Plantation Road and Waverly Road. Motorists can expect alternating lane closures between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Motorists are reminded to use caution.
