"Good Evening...I'm Lee Gordon and I'm Angela Howard..."
wait- that's not our Lee Gordon and Angela Howard...but they do share the same names.
While our Angela Howard is a real news hound...The other Angela Howard is is busy caring for hounds!
"I grew up with animals-I really love them. This was my first job right out of high school and I've been here ever since," says Angela Howard.
The 27 year old works as a Kennel Technician at the Bradfordville Animal Hospital in Tallahassee. She walks the dogs, feeds the animals, cleans their kennels and we can't forget bath time!
And while our Angela Howard interviews interesting people all the time, for the other Angela Howard, it's her clients and their owners who bring excitement to her days.
"She always comes in in a really nice outfit that her mom picks out. She wears necklaces that her mom makes," says Howard.
"Ms. Emily" the dog comes in to board just about everyday.
"Her mom requested on her birthday that we all- she brought in a birthday cake for us and we all had to put on birthday hats and sing Ms. Emily Happy Birthday and take pictures," says Howard.
While our Lee Gordon is busy tracking down interviews, the other Lee Gordon has been tracking in customers for nearly four decades. "We work on em, sell em, service em, haul em," says Gordon
Lee even gave Me a lesson in driving the big wheels.
He's been running Gordon Tractor, Inc. in Madison for 35 years. 70 year old Lee Gordon admits- in this tough economy-business isn't good right now...but there've been good days...he's sold more than five thousand tractors during his career, and helped a lot of customers all over Florida, Georgia and Alabama keep their motors running.
So who has more fans, our Lee Gordon or you," we asked Gordon.
"I ain't sure about that, we'll find out. I have a lot of friends," he replied.
Both Angela and Lee say sharing names with local celebrities has brought on some questions...
"People accuse me of being kin to him or accuse him of being kin to me all the time," says Gordon.
Angela says one of her friends even got confused...
"One day she was the one to be filmed and come in and show the animals and they told her Angela Howard was going to be interviewing her and she texted me and said do you work some place else now? And I said no," said Howard.
So, have these two ever seriously considered TV?
"Nope- not that. Ha, ha, ha," said Howard.
" No, I hadn't thought about being a news anchor," said Gordon.
So ... I guess they'll keep their day jobs!
We also found another Shonda Knight in our area ... but we couldn't work out setting up an interview with her. And a quick search on whitepages.com shows there's another Mike McCall living in Tallahassee and there are at least two other Art Myers living in Florida.
