Scott Staff Shake Up

From the beginning, Rick Scott campaigned as an outsider...

A man determined to change Tallahassee's way of doing business.
He put the state planes on the auction block.

Ordered his staff to install velvet ropes at capitol press conferences.

We're going to change the rules a little bit, how we do things.

Most importantly Scott, hired a team of outsiders as his top advisers.

But, now, with polls indicating only a third of Florida voters approve of the new governor, two of those advisers including chief of staff Mike Prendergast are out.

As low as Scott's poll numbers have sunken, they have yet to hit the all-time record.

That illustrious title is held by a governor who served twenty years ago...Bob Martinez, a man who had a shakeup of his own.

The kind of experience hotshot lobbyist Steve Macnamara has now.
He's widely expected to become Scott's new right-hand man.

An about-face for a governor who ran against the establishment but now may have no choice but to run to it.

Only the carpetbaggers like him. He said he was coming to free the people but all he wants is the land and the cotton.

I THINK THAT GOVERNOR SCOTT IS DOING A GREAT JOB!!! IT WOULD ALSO NICE IF HE COULD DO SOMETHING WITH ALL THE DEAD BEAT DADS IN FLORIDA THAT WOULD SURELY CUT DOWN ON PARENTS LIKE ME WHO APPLIES FOR STATE ASSISTANCE AFTER THE STATE SUPPOSEDLY ENFORCES ACTION..LOL ALSO IN MY COMMUNITY THERE ARE MANY ABLE BODIED YOUNG FLORIDIANS THAT RECEIVE "CRAZY"CHECKS IT WOULD BE GOOD IF THEY HAD TO GO INTO A MENTAL INSTITUTION FOR A 15 DAY EVALUATION IN ORDER TO CONTINUE BENEFITS AND WATCH HOW QUICK THEY GET WELL.. SOME ALSO RECEIVE WELFARE CHECKS AND REFUSE TO WORK YOU WANT TO CREATE JOBS MAKE IT MANDATORY FOR THEM TO AT LEAST DO 30-35 HOURS PER WEEK OF COMMUNITY SERVICE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THEIR MONTHLY INSTALLMENT..FLORIDA WOULD COME OUT OF THE RECESSION WITHIN A MONTH!!! TRY IT AND SEE!!

Gov. Scott is bad for business. He has had charges against him in the past for fraud. THAT should have been a red flag that something wasn't right and that he had no business being in office. He will cause the state to go broke because he has caused so many lay offs while he and his gang of bandits make off with the profits. Call Senator Bill Montford's office and let your voice be heard. He is still fighting to get our jobs back (850)487-5004!! Senator Montford wants to hear from the state workers!! His office is in the process of helping many of us including me!!

If he doesn't care about his popularity then why is he doing automated phone calls to people telling them the unemployment numbers are down? Using taxpayer money to still campaign???

Always got to watch the 'riches to rags' men because they learned how to use, step over, and manipulate others to get there.... You can bet someone paid a price for skinhead Scott's success...

I support you Rick Scott. Call out your National Guard if your peasants don't obey. Most are nothing more than Slum Dogs and need to see what living in a cage is like.

I hope people will be a little more responsible and a little more aware of who they are voting for in the future. You had no plan before you took office and you have no plan now. We would hope that when we elect officials they would be good stewards to those they are serving. Instead you are self serving and self absorbing, and that is obvious in your non-caring attitude. But don't worry, you will be impeached soon enough and your joke of a tenure will be over with.

The man is a thief. He is a liar and does not care who he rips off to get what he wants done. He does not care about Floridians, only that he is in charge. If he gets elected for a second term, Florida deserves him for keeping him in office. We all make mistakes, but please don't perpetuate it by keeping him.
