Tallahassee, Florida - August 15, 2012 - Noon -

A car-jacking and shooting ends with a crash right on the edge of the FSU campus. The incident took place around 4am near the corner of Stadium Drive and Spirit Way.

People in the area heard gunshots and then saw a Silver Infiniti crash on the hill in front of the Southern Scholarship Foundation.

It turns out the crash was the end of a wild chain of events.

A woman told police she was car jacked on Ocala road. She says the culprits took off in her silver Infiniti.

She says her boyfriend spotted the car on Stadium Drive and confronted the driver at a stop light.

The woman told police her boyfriend forced the suspects out of the car but when he tried to drive away the culprits pulled along side the car and shot him.

The boyfriend was hit in the abdomen and the arm.

Police tell us those injuries are not life threatening.

We spoke with TPD this morning, but they are not releasing any names and are not commenting on suspects.

The only thing we know is the car jacking suspect fled in a dark colored sedan.
