Stabbing in Suwannee County

Suwannee, County, FL - A Suwannee County man is arrested on two counts of aggravated battery over the weekend.

According to the Suwannee County sheriff's website, Alfredo Solis, 21, of Live Oak, FL was arrested on Saturday after he admitted that he was involved in a verbal altercation with two men that escalated to more.

According to the website, that's when Solis says he got a knife from his kitchen and stabbed both men several times in the abdominal area. Solis remains in the Suwannee County Jail.

    he should be charged with attempted murder....stabbing someone in the belly????multiple times hello......

      If you look at the laws,attempted murder means he would have had to prepair in advance to commit murder.He may have or he may not have,however,if they were to charge him with it,and it is proven in court that he did this in the spurt of the moment,he would walk.Aggrevated battery will carry the same sentence,and all they have to do is prove that he actually did the stabbing.That's why you hardly ever see attempted murder,because an aggrevated battery or assault is pretty much a sure thing and they don't have to prove as much in court for someone to go to prison.
