Thursday was Strive not to Drive Day at FSU.
The organization, "Sustainable Campus" wants everyone to keep their cars parked.
They're encouraging students and staff to bike, walk, ride the bus, or at least carpool, instead.
Member Caitlin Dejong says those alternatives are better for the environment and your health. "You're building these habits now. It's your first time kind of away from home, living on your own. Starting these healthy living habits now is a great way to contribute to lifelong health."
This was an inaugural event. It was held in conjunction with FSView's Healthy Living Fair.
